Before focusing primarily on mediation, he served as a partner at Hillman, Friedman & Cohen in Beverly Hills and later co-founded Cohen, Stimpert & Ford, LLP. His deep litigation background gives him a clear understanding of what drives disputes — and how to resolve them efficiently and fairly.
Robert Cohen earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he was a member of the National Moot Court Team, and graduated Cum Laude from UCLA with a B.A. in Communication Studies. His education in both law and communication studies creates his clear, logical, balanced and empathetic approach toward the parties, the negotiation process, and conflict resolution.
Deeply connected to the Los Angeles legal community, Robert Cohen has served on the Board of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation, acted as Judge Pro Tem for the Beverly Hills Superior Court, and has volunteered his time leading a Westwood Homeowners Association for many years.
