About Robert Cohen Mediation

Robert Cohen is an experienced mediator and litigation attorney based in West Los Angeles, primarily focusing his efforts in the world of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) serving clients throughout Southern California. A graduate of Loyola Law School (J.D.) and UCLA (B.A. in Communication Studies, Cum Laude), he has practiced law for many decades and has mediated "litigated" cases since the early 1990s.

Formerly a partner at Hillman, Friedman & Cohen in Beverly Hills and founder of Cohen, Stimpert & Ford, LLP, Mr. Cohen brings deep legal expertise to every mediation. A former Board Member of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation, former Judge Pro Tem for the Beverly Hills Superior Court, and past President of a Westwood HOA, Robert Cohen presently Co-Chairs the BHBA ADR practice section. 

Since joining Alternative Resolution Centers (ARC) in 2020, and the Mediation Center of Los Angeles (MCLA), Robert has expanded his mediation practice across all of Southern California. He is widely respected for his thoughtful and empathetic approach, extensive mediation training, and his commitment to achieving practical, meaningful resolutions. And he contends that "the ride" to the final destination of settlement is of equal importance.
